I bought this to replace an old Union Nightlatch which had been in use for over 30 years to my knowledge and maybe much longer, and had lately become worn so that it no longer worked properly. I was delighted to find the identical latch was still made and available on the Safe Shop website because this allowed me to replace just the latch, leaving the old keep in place. Replacing both would have been tricky in an old house where the wood of the door jamb is old too. The new latch blends in with the surrounding and matches the old keep while being fully functional. It works perfectly and the latch is fully restored. I am delighted with it.
