» Ask Question

Does the escutcheon needs to be installed if using the cylinder lock with a handle that has the cylinder profile integrally?
Ken, Croston
If you have handles that will accept the Euro Cylinder you don't need to use the escutcheons. I would also advise checking that the cylinder included with this lock is the correct size for your door and handles. This cylinder has an overall length of 74mm with an equal 37/37 split. Ideally the cylinder should not protrude from the handles by more than a few mm.
