The specification states that this product is not insurance approved. Please can you confirm as I have seen it advertised elsewhere stating it is British Standards, Insurance approved. Thanks.

The union 2234 is not British standards approved. However we do stock a union Union 2234E - BS 5 Lever Sashlock (67mm) which is British standards approved and is available in two sizes.

If you require multiple locks you can choose to have them all Keyed Alike, meaning that each lock can be opened using the same key.
