The lock was an exact fit to replace the existing, very old lock. I hadn't been able to find one previously so it has been a big help - easy to fit without having to make any adjustments.

I purchased the Union 2242 - 2 Lever Rebated Sashlock (65mm Silver) online. I am not totally competent using online shopping but this webstite was very simple to use. Delivery was stated as being next day but late on the day I placed the order I was contacted by phone and a very polite gentleman explained that there was a problem with transport and that my purchase would not be next day but the following day. I appreciated this call as I have no problem with a later delivery as long as I am informed about it. This does not seem important to some suppliers but this supplier was spot on. The lock itself was to replace an existing broken lock on a summer house. All my local shops and DIY stores assured me that it could not be replaced and then I found Safe. The lock was exactly the same as the one that I was replacing and the instructions were simple, there was even a video online that could be watched if needed. I managed to replace the lock myself without having to ask for help. Thank you Safe for a great product that did as stated. Thank you also for your great customer service.

This fixed our broken door lock. We aren't very handy in our household, but when we received the item it was quite straight forward to fit, hubby did it in about 20mins. The quality was as per our original lock. Glad we bought it from safe.co.uk rather than other companies.

First, contacting the company by phone was first class, locating the numbers of the lock and then checking for stock, also first class. Found the person i spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me get the same lock that it was replacing. I was also told the lock would be delivered next day, which it was. Will definately use the company again should I require further services with regard to locks. I had to replace a very old broken lock on my porch door. I came across the Safe Shop on the Internet and found it very easy to track down an exact replacement for the old lock. This was thanks to their extensive stock, the pictures and diagrams of the locks and the accurate descriptions on the site. I am absolutely sure I would not have found an exact replacement had I gone to the main retailers. One the order was placed the item arrived quickly and was very well packaged. I have already revisited the Safe Shop website for bathroom locks which I intend to buy quite soon and have also recommended the website to a couple of other people.

Bought this as a direct replacement of an existing lock on a garage door that I had lost the key too. It's not a high security lock( five lever mortace) as its only two lever, but was ideal for the outward opening door. The original lock had been in the door for about twenty five years and had always worked reliably, until loosing the key, so I would imagine this this will easily last as long being made Union. The grey painted finish on the door frame lock box does wear as the lock hits the plate, but not a major issue and hasn't rusted.
