Union Essential - Tubular Latch (75mm, Bright Zinc)

Very well made , easy to fit and works well.

I chose these Union latches, as all our existing ones were from a DIY store some ten years ago, had no attributed manufacturer and - most important - two of them had failed. On the first occasion, my wife found herself shut in the bathroom, and I had to drill through the door frame to insert a tool to press the latch bolt and open the door. My wife was very patient, and at least had the loo on her side of the door. On the second occasion, I found myself stuck in the utility room, and had to go outside and round the house to get in again. Enough nonsense! All the new Union latches work fine, smoothly and effectively, and needed a minimum of adjustment to the mortices in the door to fit them. They arrived very promptly, were well packed, and the price was attractive. Thank you, Safe!

Excellent product - excellent price. I've bought several of these over the years and will use again and would highly recommend to family and friends. What I particularly like is that the dimensions don't seem to have changed over the years so replacing very old ones is simple - they just drop into place with minimal fuss.

There is not much to say about the Union Essential - Tubular Latch (75mm, Bright Zinc) except that it arrived quickly, is very good value for money and exactly what I wanted to replace one that was damaged and not working. It was easy to fit and works very smoothly, thank you. If I need another one, or similar item, I will certainly come back to safe.co.uk as I appreciate the service you have provided and the quality of the goods.
