The Sentri Vehicle Box Series available in a range of three sizes, VANBOX, 515 Vanbox and the largest model 622 Vanbox, provide security protection for tools and machinery. Ideal for storing and securing high value items inside a van or truck.
The VANBOX and 515 Vanbox are constructed from 1.6mm and 2mm steel and the larger model, 622 Vanbox is constructed form 2mm and 2.5mm steel. All models are secured by the new XLOCK™ 4 point key locking system including two 8mm thick horizontal deadlocks and two 8mm thick hook locks (supplied with two keys). Additional security is provided by anti-jemmy bars around the entire lid.
Features include drop down carry handles, two hydraulic arms to assist lid opening and a protective rubber tool mat.
Pros: - Provides considerable storage space for equipment.
- Highly secure lock mechanism holds lid firmly shut sealing all sides.
- Power cord inlet on the bottom left has proven invaluable for equipment that must remain powered at all times.
- Although designed primarily for van use; its non-industrial appearance and excellent size-to-storage capacity ratio (unlike commercial safes) has permitted use in an office environment for permanent containment of critical backup equipment and security control systems. Although not as secure as commercial safes, the strong walls provide excellent heat conduction allowing equipment to be mounted and operated 24/7 whilst providing the necessary protection for the contained equipment.
Yes this may not be relevant for most customers, but for those looking for large secure equipment enclosures, this has proven to be very successful.
Cons: - (Minor) On arrival, small portions of paint could be easily chipped off the rusted iron anti jemmy bars.
