This can be locked using the handle in the same 'lift to lock' method that is usually used. In the event of battery power failure there is a connection point for a 9V battery to allow access.

Putting the App aside what if it seems is still a bit glitchy.

What happens if the fob / card fail to work - is there any safeguard?
Adamo Spilletti, Brentwood
There was an issue with the iOS version of the app finding the lock during registration, but this has been fixed with an update.

There is no override facility, but this is testament to Yale's confidence in the product. The Conexis has been in planning for well over 12 months and much of the technology regards the tags and cards is already working with existing Yale Keyless locks. The Conexis incorporates the unlocking features of the Keyless, but with a Multipoint "lift to lock" handle and has has been rigorously tested by Yale.

Should you try the lock and not feel comfortable with it you are welcome to return it.

I have the previous version of this system, the Yale Smart Keyless system with remote etc. My question is, will this handle front and rear cover the previous holes that were required to fit the first version?
Steve, Fife
The Conexis is smaller in size compared to the Keyfree so the 'footprint' of the lock would likely not cover any existing holes.

I’m looking to buy the Yale IA-330 and 1 or 2 Yale Conexis L1 Smart Keyless Door Handle(s). Can these be integrated? Ideally I’d like to use geofencing to open and lock the door(s) and likewise to enable/disable the alarm. Preferably with proximity of iWatch and iPhone. Is this feasible/possible with these two products? Otherwise can you suggest another product in your range?
Ian Caire, Grantham
The locks and alarms can be linked on the same smartphone app but will always run as separate systems. Geofencing would not be possible with either of these products.
