Discontinued
9th March 2020Overall, really good.
The price was quite good for what I got.
Installation, which included added a load of extra devices, was really easy.
The range is good... I have my sheds protected and one of the door sensors is about 30 metres from the house.
But I do have two criticisms... the first is that the system occasionally says a door isn't shut when it plainly is. The solution so far has always been to open and close the door but that's not really acceptable.
While the hardware is pretty good, I'm less impressed by the software. The general layout is a bit naff (except the arm/disarm - that's nice) and it's usable once its set up but you'll end up getting lots of messages while your setting up and my main frustration is the time it takes to upload and then be able to view a video from a video PIR.
I'm glad I bought it and I would recommend it but it's not perfect.

This camera is the perfect solution for our live aboard boat. It’s sensitive enough to pick up on intruders but not so sensitive that slight rocking sets it off. As it’s on batteries it can be placed anywhere. The main hub does need a mains power which is minimal. The resolution could be higher, but it gives a clear image both in daylight and in the dark. This gives great piece of mind as we can see if there is an intruder or if it’s a false alarm. We bought the camera separate from the rest of the system. Installation is relatively easy but I’d recommend reading all the instructions before starting with the installation.

The product is ok, the quality of the camera isn’t great and you can’t use if for a live feed. You can request a 10 second video at any time through the app but it takes a few minutes to come through.
