The cameras are powered by the DVR and do not come with a mains power adaptor.

These cameras can be set to record only when motion is detected but will not alert you. I can recommend the Yale Smart Living Wi-Fi Camera with Pan, Tilt & Zoom which would notify you once motion has been detected.
