Recently I purchased a Yale Sync Alarm from your company. Can you tell me how to fit the window contact sensors to a recessed window with rounded trim? The contacts do not sit close enough. I have sent Yale an email two weeks ago with no response. Thank you for any help.
Ceri, Swansea
The door contacts are supplied with a spacer which should allow you raise one side of the contact to meet the other if this is positioned higher. Please note the two elements do not need to be touching you can allow up to a 10mm gap between both elements.

Can the Yale sync door contact be installed with each part fitted 90 degrees to each other as in fitting it to a sliding patio door providing the minimum separation distance is maintained between both parts?
Gary, London
Providing both parts of the unit are secured in place and are within the minimum separation requirement this would be possible.

Can this be fitted to an up and over garage door?
Maisie Dunning, Poole
Providing the two elements of the sensor are close enough to allow the magnetic field to connect when the door is closed this should be possible.,
