The Keyfree with the Z-wave module was a terrific buy for me, and may be for you as well. If you have an existing home-automation setup that incorporates z-wave (for example, I am using Samsung's SmartThings), then the Keyfree would be one of the best additions you could make. The ability to have a full audit log of when the door was opened/closed and the ability to remotely unlock using your phone (I've done this when a friend needed to drop in while I was on vacation) is incredibly useful.

To start with, it'll take some getting used to the peace of mind of not having to always reach for / look for the front-door key when leaving the house - this in itself is a terrific selling point. Yale have thought it through and kept it mind that people will be sceptical about battery power, and have included a 9V battery adapter on the outside, so should you be so foolish as to ignore all the warning signs and let your interior AA batteries die, you can still plug-in a standard 9V battery outside (the same ones you use in fire alarms) and the keypad will be live.

You still have to lift the handle up to engage the multi-point locks, and I was concerned about having to press down a security button before you could push the handle down when inside, but you get accustomed to this very quickly, and the security aspect of it cannot be argued (makes fishing through the letterbox to open the door quite impossible).

As of writing, SmartThings are yet to incorporate all the Zwave features offered by the Keyfree with the correct module (ability to set and edit/remove temporary codes and user-specific codes), but I imagine this will be a matter of time (hence my "Ease of Use" rating). Setting these up manually from the Keyfree is simple when you're following the manual, albeit a bit tedious.

Overall, I'm very happy with it, friends are always impressed, and the wife fully approves! I'm an incredibly nitpicky user when it comes to tech. so if this is something I approve of, chances are that you will too.

Great service throughout - having it installed was the best thing about using safe.co.uk.
