I fitted this lock for my 89 year old mother. she uses the fob. Now family visitors have their own codes. Health visitor codes can be added and deleted with ease.

Fitting the lock to replace and old Yale rim lock was relatively easy apart from needing a hole for the wiring to pass through the door.

Programming didn't need a degree in computer science but I suggest keeping careful notes in the instructions of all codes used. I purchased extra fobs on ebay for 70p each, RFID key fobs 13.56MHz ABS IC MIFARE Classic 1k. All together a good product.

The lock has blocked inside and small modification was needed. Now works good, but it shuoldnt happen. The quality of electronics is fair enough but fitting require some modification inside the lock. The device works fine but the lock inside is not easy to fit. The power consuption is ok, as I didnt change the baterry for quite long time. Yale Keyless seems to be resistant to weather condiotions, as the rain and frost did not affect the device. The overall reate is 6 of 10 due to the fitting difficulties, but generally I'm happy of using it and would recommend to my friends.

The service has been great, but 2 months later and loads of hours on the phone and call outs.... we can’t link the lock to the phone or the Yale hub.... so the smart features are not so smart????

The lock works really well. It's very liberating to be able to leave the house without ensuring you have your keys first.
