Details
The Yale Keyless with 2nd Generation Z-Wave Module allows you to access and protect your property without a key. The Smart Lock is unlocked by either your own 4-12 digit PIN code via the backlit keypad, a key card a key tag or a Z-Wave compatible app.

Using Z-Wave technology this smart lock will connect to any leading smart home systems using Z-Wave protocol, providing remote locking and unlocking using an app. Complete flexibility allows you to remotely add new user credentials, set schedules when people can enter and use an audit trail to track user entry.

The Smart Lock is powered by 4x AA batteries which are included. If the batteries run flat there are external emergency battery contacts suitable for a 9v battery. The door can be opened from the inside by simply pulling the handle, for quick and easy exit in case of fire or emergency.

The Yale Yale Keyless Smart Lock must be used in conjunction with a night latch and is an affordable Smart Lock option.

Great item and I wish we had gone this route ages ago. Simply not having to keep track of keys for the family, plus hiding spares outside, and getting replacements cut, means that this will substantially pay for itself in due course. The build, weight and finish are also just right for the external appearance of our front door, which is of an older style with other brass elements - I was initially sceptical about adding something potentially cheap and plastic in such a prominent position but that is certainly not the case with this lock and it looks great. Not yet integrated the module into other smart features but this was secondary for us anyway - this is doing exactly what we needed it to and we would recommend it.

    Can this be installed on a UPVC door?

    This Lock is best suited for wooden doors. However for UPVC doors I would recommend the Yale Conexis L1 Smart Door Lock - Chrome.
