This safe is not tested for water resistance and is therefore not listed as waterproof.

The safe has a one year warranty during which time, in the event of any problems you would contact us and we would get this resolved for you.

Once your warranty period has expired and you had a problem then you would contact Yale's Customer Support line, who will try to identify the problem and resolve the issue over the phone where possible.

If this is not possible and the safe is deemed faulty and beyond repair you would need a locksmith to gain entry so that you can remove your possessions.

Unfortunately we do not offer installation with this safe. However we do offer these 60 minute fire rated safes which do have Installation listed as a delivery option.

The internal measurements are usable space inside the safe with the door closed.

In the event of a fire were the safe cannot be accessed via the keypad, a locksmith or engineer would be required to open the unit and retrieve the contents.

This safe may offer some water protection, however it has not been tested so an accurate resistance to water ingress cannot be quantified. We do offer fire and water resistant safes such as the Master Lock Waterproof Fire Safe LFW082FTC should you wish to consider this instead.

The Yale Large Fire Safe can only be base fixed to a concrete floor due to its 60 minute fire rating. We do offer wall mount fire safes but they only include 30 minutes fire protection.

This unit does include 1x shelf that is removable. The handle increases the depth of the unit by 30mm making the external depth 463mm.
