This safe is not tested for water resistance and is therefore not listed as waterproof.

The safe has a one year warranty during which time, in the event of any problems you would contact us and we would get this resolved for you.

Once your warranty period has expired and you had a problem then you would contact Yale's Customer Support line, who will try to identify the problem and resolve the issue over the phone where possible.

If this is not possible and the safe is deemed faulty and beyond repair you would need a locksmith to gain entry so that you can remove your possessions.

Unfortunately we do not offer installation with this safe. However we do offer these 60 minute fire rated safes which do have Installation listed as a delivery option.

Batteries will last for approximatly one year depending on the number of times the safe is opened. External power points can be located under the handle of the safe to attach a 9v battery.

Depending on the severity of damage, if the keypad was no longer functional a locksmith or engineer would be required to safely and professionally open the unit.

This safe is suitable for floor fixing only, which is common for most fire safes. We do have a small selection of fire safes suitable for wall fixing which may be more suitable.

You are quite correct. I am afraid this safe does not come with a shelf and no option to purchase one. You might be interested in these fire safes with one shelf.

Should the batteries on the unit run flat the safe would remain locked. In the event of this occurring the safe can be accessed by holding a 9V battery to the designated connection points on the underneath side of the keypad, the keypad will then activate and allow you to enter your access code to unlock the unit to replace the battery on the inside of the door.
