The cameras are powered by the DVR and do not come with a mains power adaptor.

I bought a Yale easy fit 960h 500gb system from you,I was wondering if the Yale 1080p cameras are compatible to use with this system.

Yes, the cameras would be compatible however the overall recording/picture quality would come from the DVR box itself so it would still only give you 960H rather than 1080P resolution.

Can you view and operate the camera via phone or iPad? Also, do you need a DVR for this camera?

You can view recorded footage on your smartphone or tablet but each camera must be connected to the Yale DVR. These cameras are compatible with the Yale Smart HD1080 - 2 Camera CCTV Kit and the Yale Smart HD1080 - 4 Camera CCTV Kit.
