The Yale HD 2 Camera CCTV Kit - Y402A-HD with H4A-HD Hybrid DVR and multi channel playback includes two weather resistant cameras rated to IP55 with enhanced infrared LED night vision providing a range of up to 30m. The cameras can be set to record continuously, at a set time or only when motion is detected, making it much easier to view important footage, while at the same saving on hard disk space. 1 x Hybrid DVR with 500GB Hard Drive
The Hybrid DVR will simultaneously monitor and record up to 500GB of footage from multiple cameras ready for viewing at any time when connected to your TV via HDMI cable (included). Unlike a standard DVR a Hybrid DVR will accept both standard analogue cameras and IP network cameras, making it incredibly flexible compared to other systems.
2 x Motion Detection Bullet Cameras
Enhanced infrared LED bullet cameras with night vision range of up to 30 metres and high quality recording resolution of HD720. They can be manually tilted and have a wide 60 degree viewing angle. The cameras are IP55 rated ensuring weather resistance making them suitable for use indoors or outdoors.
2 x BNC 15m Camera Cables
Each BNC cable is 15 metres in length and is used to connect the Yale analogue CCTV cameras to the Hybrid DVR and includes an analogue BNC coupler.
Accessories
Mouse, Ethernet Router Cable, HDMI Cable, Power Adaptors, Fitting Kit and Theft Deterrent Stickers.

Remote Viewing by SmartPhone
In addition to viewing from your TV it is easy to view recorded and real time images from your SmartPhone or Tablet using the Yale CCTV App* (available for iOS and Android) providing your DVR is connected to your internet router using an Ethernet cable (included).
Yale Smart Security
Control your security using a single app. When used with the optional Yale Easy Fit Alarm Link USB Adaptor you can control the Yale Keyfree Connected or Yale Keyless Connected door locks and any of the Yale Easy Fit Alarms using the Yale CCTV App.
How many Channels
The number of channels indicates how many cameras can be added to your system. A four channel system will allow up to four cameras.
Single or Multi Channel Playback
Single Channel playback allows you to view only one camera feed at a time regardless of the number of cameras. Multi Channel playback allows you to view multiple camera feeds via the same screen at the same time.
Video Backup
Using a USB memory stick or external hard drive you can backup recorded footage from the Hybrid DVR and transfer to other devices or pass onto others should the need arise.

Use our Recording Time Calculator to determine how many days storage you can expect from this 2 camera, 500GB hard drive, HD 720p CCTV system. If using motion detection we generally advise setting the most commonly used camera to 4 hours. We have set all other cameras to 2 hours as an estimate, but you can change this below to suit your needs.

The product meets my requirements,and was relatively straightforward to install,given my poor DIY skills.The manual that comes with it,though could be more informative,as I had to discover for myself how the zoom facility worked,and how easy is it too upgrade the hard drive,plus can I upgrade the cameras,but overall I am very pleased with the product.

I received my orders very quickly. Could not fault the service.The installation guide for the cameras was easy to follow and the installation was however tedious as I had to do it myself. Drilling through cavity walls and passing the cable from one side of the wall to the other side proved to be difficult. Installing the cable elsewhere was easy. Setting up the camera to link withthe mobile app took quite a while as I had wait for quite long long time to speak with someone from Yale. After three or four phone calls the problem was solved. The Yale technical team were very helpful and very patient too.

I am thinking about running this camera with wires along the bottom of my house. If the wire is cut will the recordings still hold and will I be alerted that the wire has been cut? How easy is it to install yourself if you have no idea? Or does it require an electrician? The components themselves employ a wireless connection to the main hub and instructions for set up and fitting is provided with the system.

Are the cameras wireless or do they have to be plugged directly into the hardrive?Alysha Gallagher, HuddersfieldThe cameras are wired into the DVR unit with a 15 meter BNC cable. If you prefer to have wireless cameras, you should consider the Arlo Pro Security Camera Systems.
