If I buy a Yale Easyfit CCTV system, can I connect it to my Yale SmartPhone alarm, so that the CCTV only operates when the alarm is on, and can I view images via my iphone?

You can connect the CCTV and Alarm Systems using the Yale Easy Fit CCTV / Alarm Link USB Adaptor, however the CCTV system will record constantly regardless of whether the alarm is active. You can view images or recordings via your smart phone using the Yale CCTV App.
What happens if your Internet fails? Will it still record? Can you set it up with Internet off via your tv?

Each of the cameras record locally to the CCTV DVR hard drive. Recording will continue with or without an internet connection. You only need an internet connection to be enable smartphone viewing.

The Yale App is only available for use with Smartphones running Apple iOS 8.0 or Android 4.4 (or higher) operating systems. Unfortunately it is not compatible with Windows operated Smartphones.
Is it possible to link the cctv system to a smart TV via Bluetooth or other means?

I am afraid the only way to connect this CCTV Kit to a Smart TV is via the included HDMI cable. If your Smart TV has web browsing capability you could view an IP Camera on your TV via the browser. IP Cameras suitable for this CCTV Kit are due from Yale later this year.
I see I can connect direct to my router, is it possible to connect to a network point in the house instead? My router and the box are in completely different areas of the house.

make sure that the box is plugged directly into the landline socket.
The Yale Smart CCTV Kits do not have a built in microphone. However, there is an audio input facility on the DVR box that will allow you to plug in your own external microphone.

The Yale Smart HD720 CCTV Kit can be set to record continuously or only when motion is detected. You can also set up alerts via the app to notify you when motion is detected.
Is it 15 days video storage for 2 cameras, 7.5 days for 4 cameras?

The storage rate on the DVR can differ from system to system and it will be determined by the settings you choose. You can choose to only record when motion is detected which will provide you with recordings over a longer period.
Do these need wiring or do you just fit them to the wall by a bracket?

The CCTV cameras are supplied with a 15m BNC cables which are attached from the camera to the DVR box and then the camera is attached to the wall with the bracket supplied.
When the storage on the box is full, can you set the DVR to just start rewriting over the oldest footage or do you have to keep track and manually delete?

When the storage capacity has been reached the DVR will automatically overwrite the earliest recorded data.
Are the cameras powered via the video leads or is it a separate power supply? If it is a separate supply then how long are the power cables?

The cameras are powered by the BNC Camera Cables that are included with the CCTV system, these cables are 15 meters in length. Optional 30 meter BNC cables are also available separately if needed.
Could you please confirm the size of the hard drive that comes with this kit as the model number quoted, Y402B-HD, specifies a 1TB hard drive on the Yale website.
As well as recording on the DVR can the footage be recorded via the internet in case the DVR is stolen?

You can back up the recorded data onto a 3rd party hard drive or memory stick but there is no internet based storage that is available to store recorded data on.
Am I right in thinking that the DVR needs to be plugged in to TV & Router then run leads out of DVR to cameras?

Yes, the DVR would need to be connected to a TV/monitor, and also a network router/ Ethernet cable (supplied) and the cameras to be connected to the BNC video inputs.
