Picture quality is so good - even in the dark. Easy to install and comes with all the bits and bobs to do so. Instructions are easy, and didn’t take long to set up. Bit tricky to set up the Wi-fi, but there are plenty of blogs and YouTube videos showing an easy way to set it up.

Little tricky to get the SD card in while is installed, so make sure you buy the micro SD card before you install the camera. Also, Yale phone service is a bit rubbish; generic answers from Yale staff.

All round, good value and a good quality.

Camera is perfect. Very good video quality compare to others.I don't like ony how the record is saved. If you use ad card like me you need to delete all redords after week that mean you have to take sd card out of camera which is annoying

can I add two external cameras to a SR-330 alarm kit without a full CCTV system?
brian, halesowen
External CCTV cameras can not be added as component to the alarm systems. The CCTV cameras would need to be a separate system.

If you use this as a stand alone camera can you still use remote viewing via a mobile device. What is the ethernet cable connected to externally and internally? Finally can the camera be hard wired rather than plug in?
Red, Herts
The camera can be accessed via the smartphone app, providing there is an internet connection. The Ethernet cable can be used to connect the camera to your internet router and the camera is powered by the mains using the power adaptor supplied.

How long can you record for, as most of them are only for a very short time. Also do you have to have a cloud account to record too?
Angela, CLACTON-ON-SEA
This particular camera includes an SD card slot with a maximum storage capacity of 32GB. This is likely to store up to 1 weeks footage. It is possible to connect the camera to a DVR for a storage capacity of 1TB. You may wish to consider the Yale Smart Home 4 Megapixel - 2 Wi-Fi Camera CCTV Kit. If you are looking for a CCTV Kit which is compatible with cloud I can recommend the Arlo Pro Smart Security System with 2 Cameras - VMS4230.

I have just recently bought the Yale smart living alarm and CCTV KIT 3 (CCTV MODEL SV-8C-4ABFX. Is this WiFi camera compatible? Does it require the Ethernet cable to work or will it get a signal from my DVR as that’s plugged into my Internet HUB?
Sam, North west
The Wifi enabled CCTV camera is compatible. Providing the DVR is connected to the internet router (via ethernet cable) the camera will connect via Wifi. The camera will however have its own power cable.

What is the maximum length for an ethernet cable?
Gerry Reeves, Barnham
There is no maximum length outlined for use with this product.
The maximum length for Cat 5 cables without loss of transfer speed is around 100 meters, but the shorter the cable the more reliable your connection should be.
