CIN-home.4On 14th November 2014, we’ll be ditching our office-wear in favour of something a little more exciting in an effort to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

We’re calling on all of our valued suppliers to get behind us and sponsor us to dress up superhero style for the day. We’d like to raise as much as possible, so please dig deep if you can! We’ll also be donating 3% from every sale made through our website for the whole of this week.

The idea to become superheroes for the day was to be in keeping with this years #BeAHero theme. Each member of staff will either dress up as their favourite superhero or create their own superhero identity. So far we’ve had a great response from our staff who can’t wait for the big day and it will certainly make for an unusual day in the office.

PudseyWavingAnthony Neary, Managing Director of The Safe Shop says “We really wanted to show our support and get involved this year. This is our first event for Children in Need and having been involved in other charity events this year it seemed fitting.”

Please sponsor us and give as much or as little as you can spare. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Donations can be made via our JustGiving page – justgiving.co.uk/thesafeshop

BBC Children in Need works throughout the year to ensure that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood, and the chance to reach their full potential. It relies on the energy and commitment of thousands of fundraising heroes and supporters across the UK, who donate their time and money to support the Appeal. Every single penny raised by BBC Children in Need goes directly to UK projects working with children and young people who may be affected by neglect, abuse or poverty, or those who have faced challenges in their lives such as serious illness, disabilities and psychological disorders.
