The Safe Shop successfully raised £3,377 for BBC Children in Need, contributing to the record breaking £32,620,469 total on Friday 14th November.
During the week we donated 3% form every purchase made through our website and employees gained sponsorship by dressing up as superheroes for the day rather than their conventional office wear. Staff had the opportunity to dress as their favourite superhero such as Supergirl, Banana Woman and Captain America or they could create their own superhero identity, to be in keeping with this years #BeAHero theme.

We are delighted with the response that we had for our dress up day and we would like to say a massive thank you to our suppliers and to all who supported us. It was great fun supporting BBC Children in Need and to know that we have helped raise £3,377 is a fantastic feeling. Every penny raised goes directly to UK Projects, helping disadvantaged children right here in the UK.
This was our first year supporting Children in Need and our attentions have already ready turned to next year’s appeal. We are determined to beat this years total!
