Week 3 of National Home Security Month focuses on the new world of smart technology. Smart security is making the way we live easier, whether it’s your smartphone switching your alarm on or remotely giving access to your front door, smart security is on the rise with almost 1/4 of people having smart capabilities in their home already.

Here’s our run down on the latest security gadgets available to protect your home.

  1. Go keyless with a smart lock that gives you secure access via PIN code, key card, key-tag, remote fob or smartphone. With a smart lock you can also keep track of who comes and goes through your front door when the lock is connected to a smart hub system.
  2. Get instant alerts from your smart home alarm. These can now send notification, emails and even images to your smartphone when motion is detected so whether your on holiday or simply at work you’ll know your home is safe from intruders.
  3. One step up from a home alarm system is a CCTV system or IP camera that allows remote viewing of your property from any location using a smartphone app.

Are you one of the 55% of people who like the idea of being able to control their home security? If so, why not look through our range of smart security.
