Here’s a reminder of our winter research which found that on average, Brits were planning to spend £380 on Christmas presents – yet over three quarters of us believe we splash too much cash!
Not only this, but one in five of us would actually prefer to donate to charity than buy Christmas presents. With that in mind, in the true spirit of Christmas, we ran a campaign titled #MyChristmasCharity, asking people to nominate their favourite charity to receive a donation of £380.
So many amazing charities were nominated, from small local organisations to the bigger nationwide charities, and it was great to see so many of you getting involved!
All that was left was for us to pick an entry out at random, which revealed the chosen charity to be Oxfam! Here’s our donation confirmation…
