Chubbsafes have today launched their exciting new range of Eurograde 3 safes called the ProGuard… but what is it that makes these safes different from the rest?
Well, in addition to the high quality you would always expect from Chubbsafes, the vast array of optional fittings including drawers and lockable compartments and the wide variety of locking options available including key, electronic and mechanical combinations or even dual locking (which you might think would be enough), Chubbsafes have gone even further by developing a new, revolutionary lightweight barrier material.
Designed to fill the gap between the double skin steel walls which make up the body of the safe this new material makes the safe incredibly lightweight compared to its contemporaries. Models similar in size are on average 20% heavier… the ProGuard Grade 3 is even lighter weight than Chubbsafes existing ProGuard Grade 2.
So what’s the advantage you ask?
Quite a few actually but the most significant is that the safes manage to provide more 
internal space due to the safe walls being slightly narrower. Less weight also makes distribution easier, reducing costs to the end user and making installation considerably more flexible. So much so that a professional Chubbsafes engineer will install the safe as part of the deal.
Chubbsafes have achieved this breakthrough and at the same time maintained the high level of security synonymous with Chubbsafes products, receiving the prestigious European Standard, EN 1143-1 certified by the ECB-S for Grade 3 safes.
