For years we’ve been unlocking our cars remotely, so why should it be any different with our front door locks? Thanks to Yale, it is now possible.
The very latest in security from Yale; the Keyfree digital door lock combines security with convenience by allowing you to access and secure your home without the need for a key. You can securely lock and unlock your home by entering your own code into the keypad, by using a remote control fob on the Remote Module or via an app on you phone by using the Yale Module or Z-Wave Module.
The Yale Keyfree is available in Chrome or Brass and is the ideal solution if you want to leave the house without taking a set of keys, for example, if you’re going for a run or taking the dog for a walk.
Having the facility to enter a pin code is also handy if you forget you keys, meaning you are never locked out of your own home.
Care workers and workmen can access your home by using a separate visitor code, so there is no need to cut spare keys. The visitor code and personal code can be changed as frequently as required.
Yale Module
Lock or unlock your door from anywhere in the world with the Yale smartphone app which can be downloaded free on a smartphone, PC or tablet. The Yale app allows you to control your CCTV, Alarm and door lock all in one place.
Z-Wave
Operate your door lock along with any other home systems which includes the Z-Wave protocol. Your door can be locked or unlocked using an app which also has the facility to set schedules for when people can enter the door and has an audit trail facility so you can keep track of who has entered the property.
Remote Module
Unlock and secure your door by using the keyfob supplied from up to 10 metres away. You can purchase additional handsets which are available on request.
Power
The lock is powered by batteries, meaning the door lock will still operate in case of a power cut. There is a warning when the batteries are running low gibing you plenty of opportunity to install fresh batteries.
Emergency
There is an emergency 9v battery power point and mechanical key override in case the batteries run flat. The door can be opened from the inside by simply pulling the handle, for quick and easy exit in case of fire or emergency.
Secured by Design
Tested to Police approved, Secured by Design Standard. ‘Secured by Design’ is the official Police security initiative that focuses on the design of quality security products and crime prevention.
Installation
Installation is subject to a site survey and is offered free in England and Wales. When you place your order the Yale Keyfree lock is dispatched to a Yale Security Point (YSP) installer. To save both time and cost, the survey and installation will take place at the same time.
