Chubbsafes Water 50-2E Review

We purchased this as a replacement to our aging fire safe and never looked back. The safe sits neatly and securely in our office for cash and other valuable items to keep safe. In particular the buttons and dial are easy to use and reduce button stickiness.

We've removed the shelf but annoyingly, we cannot remove the shelf brackets. I hope later designs can add this feature to remove them as it would increase interior volume.

Also the hinge pivot loosens and dislodges itself after long usage which means you have to ensure it's pushed back in.
