Good strong design and can be used both when hitched and unhitched. Takes two hands to put on and a bit fiddly.

Good colour to act a deterrant. Strong construction.

Difficult to detach illegally.

Rain water catches in the base part and so will lead to deterioration over a period of time.

EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND FIX IN PLACE.

LOWER SECTION COULD BE MORE SUBSTANTIAL, ALTHOUGH THE "BALL RING" IS LOCKED IN THE HITCH, THERE SHOULD BE A MORE POSTIVE METHOD OF LOCATING THIS LOWER SECTION ON TO THE UPPER SECTION.

OUR PREVIOUS, FULLY ENCLOSED UNIT, FOR AN ALKO HITCH SERVED US WELL, AND ALTHOUGH NOW RUSTY IS STILL AS SECURE, AND FUNCTIONAL AS WHEN FIRST PURCHASED, SOME 20YRS+ AGO.

SHAME IT WONT FIT MY KNOTT HITCH ON MY CARGO TRAILER.

Good quality, very easy to use and robust.

Very strong, well made device. A visual deterrent to any would be thief . A great comfort to know my trailers are secure in my yard when left unattended. Also when using my trailer I can use my Bulldog Lock on the trailer while attached to my vehicle, means I can park with confidence knowing my trailer is securely locked to my vehicle.

Great value for money & great peace of mind.

I would recommend this lock to anyone needing to secure their trailers. It is a Far cheaper alternative to having to replace a stolen trailer and all the inconvenience & annoyances that causes.
