SecureFast SKS2 - BS 5 Lever Sashlock (67mm, Polished Brass) Reviews

Bought two of these to replace non BS 5 lever mortice locks so that I could meet insurance specifications. The bodywork was slightly wider than on the locks being replaced (they appear to be well reinforced) and I needed to widen and deepen the mortice recesses in the hardwood doors. Not beyond my basic DIY skills with a sharp chisel! The key mechanism is smooth and easy although one of the locks allows the key to turn well past the locking point meaning that you have to turn it back slightly before you can withdraw the key. Otherwise I am very pleased with the locks which enable me to meet insurance requirements without channelling in new top and bottom security locks. Service and delivery was very fast - thanks, Safe.
