Best price i could find for 3 keyed alike padlocks. They're for use on a shed and the weather proofing is very high quality, i was very impressed at the overall quality for the price.

I Purchased these Locks for two particular reasons 1) They where to be used outside on my Garage Side Door so obviously needed to be as waterproof as possible. 2) I didn't want to be constantly looking for 3 keys for 3 seperate locks. By having One Key which will open all the 3 Locks is absolutely brilliant especially when one isn't fully awake in the morning going into the garage to get in their car. They appear to be well protected against our very severe Lancashire/Yorkshire Moors Weather and up-to-press are never wet when I remove the weather caps over the lock to insert the key so one can't ask for more than that. As for security, if someone wants to break into your property badly enough then no matter which locks one uses they will get in. These Locks are very tightly made regarding dimensions by not allowing people very little room to insert levers to prise the lock apart.

So do I rate these Locks yes I do, I've given 5 Stars for ease of use, 5 Stars for Value for Money & 4 Stars for Build Quality as nothing is ever 100% waterproof & 4 Stars for Security as Bolt Cutters will get through most Locks. All in All a damn good product and terrific value for money.

Before I bought these, I had purchased a more expensive set of keyed alike locks from a local trade centre. These failed and were replaced on two occasions. I eventually gave up on them and after securing a refund, bought these. I have kept them oiled, which is a normal maintenance procedure for any padlock used outside and they have functioned perfectly. Despite living in a coastal area… there is no sign of salt corrosion as yet either. I am using them on a garden shed and while 3 locks sounds excessive…I use three bolts to stop the door from warping in the sun. I am not convinced that the rubber grommets on the hasp are overly effective in keeping water out of the lock body…as there is usually a few drops in the lock barrel caps when opening up… but as I say… oiling is the best method of keeping the lock working well and so far so good… no issues at all. Would definitely recommend.

Great locks nice that 1 key fits all locks. One tip every month or so spray a bit of WD40 in the lock to keep to moisture out.

Excellent and easy with 1 key for all locks

Having three locks with one key is great because all my garden sheds can be opened with the same key. So much easier. The locks are simple to open and close. There is only one complaint that stops me giving 10 out of ten for ease of use and build quality is the rubber seal - to prevent water ingress into the lock. This seal is not fixed and comes off too easily. A good idea but badly executed

Great product: needed 3 new outside padlocks that were weather resistant. These are easy to open and close. The covering seems really good, there is only one small area on one lock where the metal shows, which is minor. I am generally very happy with these outdoor locks and would buy again and happily recommend. They are the best outdoor locks I have had yet and I have had several.

Great product, great value - looks sturdy and key fits in nicely.

An excellent product, I have now been using these for the last three months through rain, sleet and snow and they have continued to operate faultlessly.

No water ingress and no freezing up of the locking system, they continue to function whatever the weather.

Far superior to any other locks I have used in the past and as such, I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Used to lock external metal garden gates at the boundary of the property. Very easy to lock and the keys to unlock work effortlessly. I have used WD40 on a regular basis to ensure they keep in good working order. The black coverings allow these locks to blend in to black fencing. I recommend these locks for this particular type of use.

Provides the security I was looking for with the added bonus of one key fitting all three locks.

The locks are sturdy and seem good quality along with a sensible price tag from a recognised lock manufacturer and should stand up to the British weather.

They have a plastic sleeve and covering which should keep them working even after a downpour.

I would recommend these locks if your looking to secure any sheds or gates as they are just the correct size for most locks .

A good quality item and reasonable value for money. The fact that one key works with the three padlocks obviously saves fiddling with multiple keys on one site.

My only criticism is that the rubber sleeve which waterproofs the lock at the top is a very tight fit through the standard gate bolts which I use the padlocks for.

The idea of three locks with only one key is perfect for our use, the service from "Safe" in packing them well and sending promptly was excellent ..... but that's where the positives end. The "waterproof" fitments, flimsy plastic covers over the key opening, snap off after a few days use, and the plastic collars around the shackle just drop off. Then the locks start to fail one by one, they become difficult to lock, you have to use the key to lock them sometimes when they should just snap shut. We are constantly having to spray with WD40 to keep them working but this doesn't have any lasting effect, they are simply very poor quality which is a great disappointment from a previously highly regarded brand.

having recently had my garden sheds broken into i needed to change my padlocks for better security i liked the look of the yale Y220 weatherproof 51mm steel padlock (3 pack) so i bought a pack of three they have proved to be good quality and provide better security they are well suited to my requirements for example the construction of these padlocks makes it a lot more difficult for anyone to get cutters or other tools in between the lock as they are built with minimum gap which helps prevent this and another good feature is the rubber cap keeps out moisture these padlocks are well made and i am very pleased with them

Sturdy locks for my shed and back gate. They look good and are easy to operate especially when using with wet hands. The order arrived promptly and were as advertised. They are good value for a robust lock. I have recommended this site to family and friends

Good locks weatherproof and secure

Nice looking and does the job immediately, all weather is an over commitment.

They have seized relatively quickly and needed to be packed with a waterproof grease to get working again.

Once I did that they have been fine.

I still buy them bud before using for my customers I fill them with grease in advance.

Very good easy to use locks. Same key for each lock a great idea. Lock stays dry so no problem with key entry. Would buy again.

Needed to secure double gates on church entrance. Position not directly exposed to the elements but damp and likely to be vandalised . Gates needed to be locked when open and when closed. Three padlocks which worked with one identical key allowed for multiple users without having to have a whole bunch of keys. The Yale 220 weatherproof steel padlock provided an ideal solution allowing the padlocks to remain fastened in place whatever position the gates were in. The padlocks have been in daily use, with no problems and surviving all that’s been thrown at them!, with gates opened in morning and fastened closed at night. They were a Good buy.

These Yale padlocks are ideal for outdoor sheds and outhouses etc. They are chunky rubber coated with a very solid feel and they look secure. They are also very easy to use and lock and unlock easily and smoothly. They are sold as waterproof but you have to close the key entry hinged rubber cover or water can get in via the keyhole and the lock can then freeze.

Having the same key for several padlocks makes life so much easier when locking different sheds etc and saves carrying around and fumbling for separate keys. I am quite happy with the product would use them again.

Unlike the picture mine came with some rubber grommets on the opening end of the hoop to keep water out, which didn't take long to fall off and become lost, so their ability to keep water out is then reduced. They also seized up after only a couple of months of exposure to winter weather on shed doors, requiring a liberal application of graphite powder which up to now has kept them going. Also the plastic covers for the lock hole end up holding water in rather than keeping it out, which makes it worse than being exposed (this might be where the water seeps in at the hoop holes and runs out the lock). For the money though, they are OK as long as you are prepared to maintain them, they aren't a 'set it and forget it' solution. I'd just about fall on the "recommend" side of the fence with these .... but only just

3 Padlocks all keyed alike. Padlock is a solid affair , with a black rubber coating. It has a cap that goes over the key entry to keep the water out which seems a reasonable fit. It is attached to the lock so it gannot be lost. The hasp of the lock is also plastic coated, but has a softer black collar either end. This is so that when you shut the lock, the plastic on the hasp slightly squashes the collar against the body of the lock to provide a bit of a water seal. This is fine, except if the hole you are putting the padlock hasp through is close to the diameter of the hasp, when you open the lock you can catch the collar and slide the collar off to be lost on the floor. One of my 3 locations for the lock is like that. Make sure you measure the size of the hole and add a good bit when selecting the lock size.

Overall a good product, happy with it.

These are really nice, squat, chunky and solid feeling padlocks, which look secure. After 4 months in place (on outdoor buildings very open to the elements) they still look brand new and operate very easily and smoothly. They suited keys are bigger and more substantial than most of the flimsy padlock keys you get. I was very pleased with the ease of ordering through the website, and the speed of delivery (done in a hurry as I needed to quickly replace the existing locks). The locks were very easy to put in place and all the keys worked easily in all of the padlocks. Ideal!
