This is suitable for an External Hard Drive providing it is in the data box shown in the images at the bottom of the safe. The internal dimensions of the Data Box are 116 x 274 x 233mm (HxWxD).

There are various levels for the NT Fire test. This model is tested and certified to NT Fire 017 - 90P for the main body of the safe and NT Fire 017 - 90D for the Data Box.

The number 90 indicates the number of minutes fire protection provided. The letter P indicates it is tested for Paper and the letter D indicates it is tested for Data. An external hard drive is under the data classification.

This safe can only be installed using the PAD4 Base Fixing Tray. There are no holes in the safe itself to allow bolt down. The base fixing tray is bolted to the floor and the safes 'feet' are attached into the base tray using snap head bolts.
