This safe was delivered promptly and effectively. It was possible to install it single-handed, although heavy enough to be at the limit of what an average person can man-handle. Only one bolt is included, so provides for fixing either to floor or wall, but not both (although purchase of a rawl-bolt would easily address that). Operation by key is straightforward and effective. The front key-panel is plastic, which is the only disappointment, as it seems inappropriate to a safe of this standard, and makes one wonder what would happen to it in the event of a fire. One must also be careful not to open the door against a wall while the key is still inserted as the weight and momentum of the door could easily damage the locking mechanism. This means that immediately after opening the safe the key must be used to reengage the lock so that the key can be removed, and then when closing the safe the key must be used to unlock again before the door can be closed. Inside it is relatively spacious with two solid metal adjustable shelves provided.
