This was purchased as a replacement for a lock originally fitted six years ago. That lock had broken because the latch spindle had sheared; a failure for which there is no replacement spare part.
Refitting was relatively straightforward although the pass-through system is slightly different, meaning that the spindle had to be shortened. The screw fitting studs are supplied in a different configuration but can be adapted/removed to fit the original door cutouts.
Ironically, we no longer use the push button locking because the entire building now has a fob activated security system. Expensive lock replacement was a cheaper option than modifying the door for an entirely different lock with more standard fitting centres.
