Does the above product have a key to operate it?

The parking post has a push lock that locks automatically when the post is in place. A key is then used to release the post so that it can be retracted down again.

Is this product suitable to be mounted on paving bricks?
Gordon
This product is not suitable for mounting to paving bricks. An area of the paving would need to be removed to enable a concrete base or pad to be installed for the post to be securely affixed to.

Can you please advise me what fixings would be needed to secure this to a tarmac drive?
Rozie , Leamington Spa
The best option would be Anchor Bolts with a minimum length of 80mm. They are similar to a screw and rawlplug fixing but made from metal and considerably stronger.

If fixing to Tarmac you will need a minimum of 100mm depth. If you have less than this you should remove a section of the tarmac and make a concrete base so that you can fix to this.

Could this post be fitted by a gate in a field?
Anonymous, Basingstoke
This post is designed for installation on to a solid surface as it requires bolting down. You could position this in a field in front of gate, but you will need to ensure there is a solid surface to mount this on or lay down an adequate area of concrete foundation for this to be installed to.
