So pleased I found one with the same dimensions to fit my old doors. The door handles and latch were so dodgy I was in danger of getting locked in my living room. I fitted easily and replaced the handles and it is all good again

It was (my fault when I measured and messed up) slightly tight to fit.

However it's been fitted for over a week now and it's ideal .

Plus I received good customer service from the vendors.

I'd happily purchase a latch from them again, in fact I will be getting another item very shortly.

I was lucky to find this replacement latch, it's good quality, no problems fitting it, little bit pricey, but that was expected as it was not easy to find a new replacement, security is n/a as it's a latch, happy customer.

i was amazed they were still making this door catch, our house was built 40 years ago and i was able to get the exact same one to replace the the catch on one of our doors, just have to be sure you measure it exactly as there

are different sizes

Drop in replacement for existing latches. Seems sturdy enough, for non locking internal doors. Nice positive action, no apparent sloppiness in the latch bolt or mechanism. Time will tell if they hold up as well as their predecessors, but so far they seem to be just the job and a lot easier than trying to reconfigure the door for a different latch
