What is the backup for the Phoenix Titan FS1283e in case the code is forgotten? And does it give a reminder when the battery is low?
Irfaan, London
The safe has a Master Reset facility in case the code has been forgotten. In the event of the battery power failing not only will the safe alert you when on low battery power, the batteries can be changed externally at any time.
If in the event of a fire, how would you access safe? I am presuming the keypad will be un-usable after a fire, so wanting to know how I would access it after.
Ross King, Glasgow
An engineer or locksmith would be required to open the safe in the event that the keypad is un-usable.
