If the wall fixings are used, are there metal plugs to fill the holes in the base to prevent the contents being burned through the holes?
Stuart R, Tamworth
The pre-drilled holes in the base and back of the safe have rubber stoppers inserted which you can remove upon delivery. I would advise filling which ever fixing holes that are not used with a heat resistant sealant to prevent heat penetration via these points.

On this safe - I will be fixing to an internal wall that is 1 x standard brick construction. I assume the bolts will not need to go through the whole brick?
rod, dorking
The installation instructions state that you need to drill the fixing holes using a 14mm diameter drill bit to a depth of 90mm.

Does the wall fix on this safe allow fixing through the back of the safe to a wall behind?
D Martin
This safe has pre-drilled holes in the back and the base so that you can secure the safe to a solid brick or concrete floor or wall by using the fixing kit provided.

Can this safe be installed/fixed on its back, so that the door faces/opens upwards?
Joe, birmingham
We strongly advise against fixing the safe on it's back as the locks are balanced and fixing on it's back could potentially cause the lock to fail.
