Excellent, solid (and quite heavy!) safe. My previous safe had a digital keypad, but that was a pain when the batteries failed. I much prefer a physical key. On that note, the key to this safe is double sided and would be more difficult to bypass than a normal lock.

The slight downside is that the storage capacity is just a little bit less than I had hoped.

The little palette that the box arrived on was very useful.

sturdy heavy safe, even delivery driver struggled with it, looks pretty secure and difficult to move once placed. space inside could have been bigger, maybe a slightly bigger model in range as the next one up is far to big to place. Key operates the bolts, handle is fixed and is just to pull open door, I expected key to unlock lock and handle to be turned to move bolts

Robust, impregnable and very well -made. Key operated, no battery keypad, makes it straightforward and easy to use. Its large enough to hold legal papers, important documents, passports, jewellery, coins and other valuables but small enough to easily conceal and disguise somewhere in the home or office. We are delighted with ours and have no problem recommending the, Securikey Mini Vault Gold FR 1K to anyone considering a small safe for their home or office.

I am really pleased with this safe serves my needs. I really don’t recommend the bolts that came with it had to purchase better made ones from B&Q but the safe is sturdy. I thought the handle on the front was to unlock it but it is just to pull to open the door so be away if that. Light that come with it is a bit of a novelty and has proved useful. All and all I satisfied with it.

Build quality: Excellent

Ease of use: Not an issue with mortice locks

Storage capacity: Go up in size if you can. This is only just big enough for small paper items. I really wish I'd gone up a size.

Security: The lock seems to be very efficient

Value for money: If you can afford too, go up in size, although if you only want a few bits safely stored.
