An excellent electronic safe.

The wall fixings supplied are less than perfect and I found getting the safe fitted to the wall was a bit fiddly. There are better quality wall fittings available. The bolts go through the thick back wall (or floor) and in my case in a narrow opening pushing the safe into position while trying to locate the holes took multiple attempts but we got there in the end. It is now securely bolted into place.

Remember that this product is heavy and handling post delivery may give challenges to some.

Pros:

The product is fairly easy to use.

The idea of battery outside the safe is amazing as it could eventually save you from being locked out.

Delivery service was good and on time

Item was delivered as described in the specifications.

The thickness of the walls is good.

Cons:

Sometime the buttons are not very easy to use.

The keypad itself is not tightly fixed to the safe and with a slight push it can be removed and the wires could be cut.

The space between the door and the safe is not small (Gap) and the complimentary light is not high quality.

Very spacious internally compared to models of similar price and external dimensions; solid, secure and easy to use.

Extremely helpful, even to the extent of ensuring the safe was despatched same day in spite of my order being placed beyond the deadline. When I found, on delivery, that two shelf supports were missing, I called and they were sent from the manufacturers the same day. Excellent service.

In hindsight perhaps a door that could be hung for either right or left hand opening (if such a safe exists) might have been useful for my chosen positioning, but I have absolutely no complaints about the safe at all.

One thing I was not asked to rate was ease of installation. This was not too difficult but I found it was important to drill to exactly the recommended depth. I am not a handyman and this took some careful planning and a special tool to tighten the nut. I received the safe well packed but with one shelf support missing. With my guarantee document I submitted a request for one more support and received four more by return mail. The code to open the safe was easy to set up and the light that comes on when the safe is opened is very handy. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase. Just wish I had some money to put in it!
