The cameras do not need to be located near a power supply as they receive their power from the DVR. The cameras connect directly to the DVR via the 18m BNC cables.

The cables are suitable for external use. I would also recommend using Coaxwrap on any exposed connectors.

This is dependent on the settings you have used on your system. On the 'Set & Forget' option on the lowest visual setting you could have 160 Days+ of recording. On the highest visual settings this would be significantly lower at approx 45 days recording.

Not out of the box, however it does have audio input suitable for external microphones which can be purchased at most electrical stores.

The settings can be changed using the app on your phone to continually record or record when motion is detected.

This system does have a Hybrid DVR which will allow IP cameras to linked to the system.

The standard default frame rate is 8 frames per second. However, this can be modified via the options menu and can be increased to 12 FPS.

This system will send notifications to your smart device when motion is detect.

The True Detect camera's are Swann's newest range, they offer the same quality and resolution however have Swann's Thermal sensing technology.

You can set the system up with either a TV or laptop by connecting the HDMI cable provided.

You can view through a monitor, but without Wi-Fi connection you will not receive any notifications on your smartphone if motion is detected.
