Handle cannot turn the lock after 2 months. Not sure whether it is related to the fact that I used the latch often to prevent the door shut.

I needed this Yale lock to replace the lock on the inner door of my daughters 1930 house. I wanted one the same size as the old one, but as I suspected it was original (from the 1930s) I wondered if they were still being manufactured. So I looked on Amazon who were no help at all because even though they had more modern Yale locks on sale, none were the right size and I didn’t want to alter the inner door structure if I could avoid it. So I went direct to the Yale website who had the exact lock I needed but out of stock. Then I looked on Safe With Us, and you had the exact same model, in stock, and cheaper than Yale!
