Senior PPC Executive

In order to increase our in-house skillset, we are looking for an additional full-time member of staff to take responsibility for the implementation, strategy and reporting of our digital paid advertising. This is a new role for the company, currently handled by an external partner. It will focus primarily on managing Google Ads and Google Shopping, but will include Bing and social media platform advertising. It will also involve proactively expanding the brand into new paid channels where appropriate. Over time the role will most likely include managing other team members. The ideal candidate must have a solid mathematical background, and experience working on large ecommerce accounts.

This is an opportunity to work for a close-knit team and gain experience working for a market leader.

Based in Preston, we are close to the motorways and national rail links.

Responsibilities Include

  • Taking responsibility for managing all paid channels – primarily Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Daily optimisation of campaigns to meet KPI targets.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Expanding our brand into new paid channels where appropriate.
  • Detailed keyword research and writing ad copy / optimising on-page copy.
  • Implementing automation and custom alerts where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with other team members to optimise customer experience (landing pages, etc).
  • Analyse data to identify new trends & opportunities.
  • Keep up-to-date with the industry as it develops.

Skills Required

  • Google AdWords & Bing certification.
  • Able to work as part of a team, including experience as team leader
  • Strong experience with large PPC account/s and KPI targets, both in managing and improving.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Shopping.
  • Experience of managing social media advertising campaigns (Facebook, Twitter)
  • Highly analytical mind-set with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Expert with MS Excel including using pivot tables.
  • Mathematical background / highly numeric.

The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience. Examples of previous work are essential.
