What happens if you are away for a couple of months and something goes wrong at home, how do you keep evidence if only kept for 7 days. I'm not very up to date with technology sorry for the ignorance.

The system has a 7 day basic free storage account as standard. Increased storage is available from Arlo direct on a monthly tariff of your choosing.

Is there any way the the recording can be stored on a Storage device in the home, such as a NAS, So that if an intruder is detected and I do not know the 7 day cloud storage will be wiped.

Unfortunately there is no other option to save stored history other than the cloud storage.

The magnetic mount specifically states as indoor. The camera is suitable for outside. Am I going to need a separate mount?

Does this camera record audio as well as video?

Unfortunately the original Arlo Wire-free cameras are not capable of recording audio. You may prefer the Arlo Pro Smart Security System with 1 Camera - VMS4130, which records audio as standard.
