This is a superb product and I would recommend it to anybody that needs it either as a security system or in order to keep a close eye on children or elderly relatives. I use mine at my mothers home to keep an eye on her because she suffers with dementia and has various health issues and also use it in my property in Spain in order to have a security system in place to ensure peace of mind. It is extremely easy to install and works extremely well

Overall this is a Great product. This is my first CCTV system and I did a fair bit of research before hand. Important points for me are: 1) its wireless so no cables even for power and the coverage extends on the opposite side of a standard house this allows you to put it where you want, 2) the battery life is very good given its wireless, even if you get about 5 alerts a day like me (yes this impacts battery life) and I'd agree that charging would be once every 3 months as they indicate, 3) the mobile app for iPhone is very intuitive, simple, has all the expected features for playback, etc. but the further plus side is being able to set a schedule for when each camera is active, i.e. you dont want alerts when someone you know returns home at a particular time, 4) build quality is good for a weather resistant camera (had mine in the snow this winter and no issues) however I'm a little disappointed that you cannot fasten down the camera so it cannot be stolen but hopefully I'd get an alert in time (!), 5) video alerts are stored in the cloud and accessed via the app however you will find unlike most competition that they are stored for 7 days free of charge regardless of number of alerts so you can download important alerts if required, 6) video quality is good for a typical driveway distance and capturing video for a moving object (like someone walking) is reactive enough in most scenarios and also I find the night vision is good for relatively close objects but dont expect too much detail 7) finally, price is slightly on the high side but probably worth it given above.

The system was easy to install and I quickly got used to operating the different features. It is easy to turn the cameras on and off when in the house to save the battery. I turned the notifications off most of the time as these were mainly unnecessary. The magnet attachments make easy to adjust the viewing area but these would also make it easy for the cameras to be stolen. Recharging batteries is easy but I found that these did not last as long as specified in the product information. Overall, however, a very good system that I would highly recommend.

The pro smart camera was very easy to set up through the broadband. The main thing that appealed about this camera over others was the wireless facility, which does not detract from the quality of the video or sound. It keeps me well informed by email and records short snippets with what seems to be a sensitive movement sensor. Picture quality is good in daylight and in the dark the camera automatically changes to capture images in the night setting. Sound is very clear, though I have not needed to use the microphone so cannot comment on that. It is quite pricey but there is little choice on the market for a wireless camera and this has a very good feel with solid quality. Also easy to remove from its magnetic fixing for recharging or adjusting its position. All in all very happy with my purchase.

After installing 2 other cctv systems, I bought 2 Arlo cameras and its the best cctv I have owned so far. Its quick to access the live footage or a recording and I like the 2 way intercom as I have a lot of parcel deliveries so I can speak to the courier to let them know where to place the item. Being wireless makes it so flexible to position it wherever I want inside or outside of the house and recording on the highest picture quality, I only recharge the batteries every 10 days or so. I would thoroughly recommend buying the Arlo system.

we brought two arlo pro cameras with rechargeable battery's and are delighted with the product and also the packing the ease of set up was a welcome surprise every thing you need to install the product is in the box the magnetic mounts make it simple to install in any situation cannot fault them everything is just as advertised thank you for the security and peace of mind with the app we never miss a delivery or visitor the night vision is way better than similar the battery life is more than expected products and the microphone and speaker work perfectly we would and have recommended this arlo product to one of our neighbors and they have also purchased the two camera set could not be more pleased thank you so much

I needed a camera for my holiday home and looked carefully at reviews on the Internet. There were other brands, but I saw that people regretted buying these and wanted to go back to Arlo.

I ordered 2 cameras and they were installed within minutes. I have a camera aiming at my garden and one at the front. I can install the cameras outside if I want tot pick up every movement, but for now they are inside.

When inside, they do not detect movement, but I can watch any moment live. It makes me smile however, that when I moved around in the house, they do detect movement via the glass reflection.

They are small, give a good picture and are so easily moveable.

I had some curtains installed, but was home sick, but my husband was there with the camera so I could follow exactly what was going on. So this would make a perfect baby monitor as well. It also gives sound.

You can disarm the camera from hearing sounds or movement on your ipad, iphone etc.

You can change the view to 180 degrees should you want to.

I was afraid of the battery life, but it has been in the house for 3 months now and still registers over 80% battery life, so no worries there.

I know it is not cheap, but installing a security alarm will cost you £250 yearly on maintenance and about £500 on installation.

I feel safe, I like having a look at my garden once in a while whilst in the city, so all in all it is a very good buy for me.
