Image quality very good in 4k .I am happy with siren the camera detect motion very good .this was my upgrade with swann camera I am glad that I made right choice at the end .camera does have flash light detection incase u don't want to use siren at the same time. The Swann DVR-5680 8 Channel Ultra HD 4K - 4 Camera Enforcer CCTV Kit with multi channel playback includes four True Detect heat sensing cameras, with motion activated 'Police-style' flashing red and blue lights to deter intruders. The weather resistant cameras are rated to IP66 with enhanced infrared LED night vision providing coloured video footage from up to 10m and a full night vision range of up to 40m. The system also includes a 2TB hard drive and has eight channels allowing for an additional four cameras to be added if required.

The PRO-4KRL cameras can be set to record continuously, at a set time or only when motion or heat is detected, providing more reliable notifications and recordings and making it much easier to view important footage, while at the same saving on hard disk space. I brought this system due to the fact got some crazy quotes for a same spec system to be supplied and fitted to which gave me a bad taste in my mouth and gready so this system is very much plug and play and am very happy with its functionality great price and product and easy to use

Happy with my swan security cameras all four are working as they should and the picture quality is better than i hade expected.I hade a

little blip or two learning my way around the software but that problem was of my making and with a little practice and patience all fell into place,setting the time I found most frustrating.l fit all the cameras to my property myself and had to purchase a couple of sixty meter long coax as two the cameras are fitted to a detached garage and stable block.The cameras have been in use for the last three months and working perfectly.

    Hi does the HD box have to be physically connected to a router via Ethernet cable or can it be set up wirelessly to enable users able to view cameras remotely?

    The DVR needs to be connected to the router via ethernet cable. It is possible to view live and recorded video footage via the smartphone app.

    Can the siren be set to only be activated with motion at certain times of the day. I don't want the siren to trigger during the day when the postman or any other visitors come to the house but would like to set it to activate between say 3pm and 8am each day?

    This could only be achieved by manually switching the siren on and off using the app settings during these time periods.

    Is it possible to be supplied with longer BNC cables so I can reach my garage with 2 of the cameras and can these cameras be set to notify intruders through Alexa.

    Id like to install cameras on my property to view down the side of my house, but have an almost shared driveway with the neighbours. Whilst they would be ok with cameras being up and possibly recording if they walk past and trigger one. Id hate for the sirens to be triggered every time they go past to their garage.
    Can you deactivate the lights and siren but keep the record function when the motion sensor is tripped?
