The Door View Cam includes knock detection via the built in impact sensor and motion detection technology which will alert you if somebody is at the property and you can view live high definition footage at any time. Smart Video Monitoring

The integrated camera allows you to view high definition HD 1080p footage so that you can see who's at the door. You can even hear and talk back via the built in microphone and speaker. The camera also includes LED night vision video from up to 4 meters away providing crystal clear footage any time of day.

Ring Protect - Video Backup

You will receive a 30 day free trial of Ring's cloud storage feature which allows you to view recorded footage. A subscription is available for further access with monthly or yearly subscription plans available which allow you to view up to 60 days worth of video recordings. You can however, still use the Ring Door View Cam and receive notifications without a subscription.

Amazon Alexa Integration

It is possible to connect your Ring Video Doorbell to an Amazon Echo Show, Echo Spot and Echo speakers. View live footage by voice command or review recorded video footage at any time. If somebody arrives at your property, simply say "Alexa, show my front door" to view live footage and see who is at the door.

Know Who's There

The internal part of this video doorbell works in the same way as a tradition peephole, so you can see who's there the old fashioned way. There is also a simple privacy shield which makes sure that you can look out without letting others look in.

Controlled by SmartPhone

It is easy to view recorded and real time images from your SmartPhone or Tablet using the Ring app* (available for iOS, Android and Windows) providing your Ring Door View Cam is connected to your internet router via Wi-Fi.

If love the ring door view cam... it’s become so handy for deliveries security I don’t need to check it all the time I don’t want to become paranoid over every little thing happening outside but the motion sensors have been activated to where I want them to be on my property and without being intrusive to neighbours boundaries ... although great to keep an eye into there zones to with permissions If anyone wanted to... wouldn’t be without now and am getting two more flood lights in future to protect side of house and back garden definitely worth the buy and monthly subscription to keep video backed up ...glad I purchased few glitches in beginnning but that’s standard sometimes with learning to use something new no big issue learning curve and perseverance all sorted and works perfectly for me.

Really pleased with the Ring Door View cam. It's simple to use and records great footage, giving peace of mind following an attempted burglary that we had at our home prior to purchasing this.

The doorbell is easy to use, setup and customise from within the free Ring app. Video quality is very clear, especially in bright sunlight, picking up contrast well (the added 'HDR' setting also assists with image quality). Subscription cost isn't too bad either, I now have an extra camera added to the rear of my property.

Great service from safe.co.uk, this was the first time I hard ordered from them and delivery was really quick.

Is subscription optional or mandatory for this?

Subscription is mandatory for storage of videos. However, it is possible to receive alerts and be able to hear and talk back via the smartphone app without a subscription.

Does the device make a noise so I can hear if someone is ringing the doorbell when my phone is switched off or on silent?

The Device will alert you via sound if the doorbell is pressed. You can also purchase Ring Doorbell Chime and Ring Doorbell Chime Pro to place around your home to sound once the doorbell has been pressed.
