The cameras do not need to be located near a power supply as they receive their power from the DVR. The cameras connect directly to the DVR via the 18m BNC cables.

The cables are suitable for external use. I would also recommend using Coaxwrap on any exposed connectors.

The settings can be changed using the app on your phone to continually record or record when motion is detected.

The standard default frame rate is 8 frames per second. However, this can be modified via the options menu and can be increased to 12 FPS.

The True Detect camera's are Swann's newest range, they offer the same quality and resolution however have Swann's Thermal sensing technology.

You can set the system up with either a TV or laptop by connecting the HDMI cable provided.

The system is supplied with 4 x 18 meter BNC Camera Cables.

The Swann CCTV systems are available with white cameras only.

You will be notified via the app on your smartphone when motion is detected.

I would always recommend a maximum distance of no more than 60 metres and with a single BNC cable Swann 60m CCTV BNC Camera Cable, as using different lengths can effect the resolution and quality of the picture.

You can view through a monitor, but without Wi-Fi connection you will not receive any notifications on your smartphone if motion is detected.
