Good camera and image. Easy to set up with few it skills. First one suddenly died but excellent customer service from US tried hard to get it going again. In the end, sent a new one.

I love this product, as it has enabled us to check on our home from our mobile. We use it on a daily basis. It is small, so it can be positioned easily and it is also aesthetically pleasing. I would not want to be without it now.
My one problem with it, was when I allowed the iPhone update and found that the screen would not turn to allow a larger view. However, I see there is an update and hope this will rectify it.
Other members of our family can easily check our home on their phones while we are away too.

Does the camera have a battery back-up if the mains supply was cut? Also does it need Wi-Fi present to operate?

No, The ERA Wi-Fi Enabled IP 116 Camera is only mains operated and does not have a battery back up. The Camera would also need a Wi-Fi connection to send any notifications/ video recording's to your smart phone.Tom WWas this helpful?6
Can the camera be configured so it only records when the ERA home guard alarm is alarming?
