Theses are good locks, but the measurements are a bit hit and miss. While they are flush inside, they aren’t outside and there’s no guidance other than measure to the outside of the handle plates, which I did. So either be prepared to send them back to get the correct size, or add 5mm either side

Fitting the locks is very simple and straightforward with only basic tools. They look good in the door and having KeyAlike is a great feature to have. Buying spare keys at the point of sale is cheap and worthwhile, especially if you have teenagers in the house! One last thing, the mechanism needed lubrication and then the keys had a nice feel when locking and unlocking.

These cylinders are very secure, the key is robust (could ever imagine it snapping), and the thumbturn action silky smooth.

Bought x3 locks for front, side and back door to use all the same key but all were different lengths. Took 5min a door to fit, look and work great.

Did a lot of research on this lock and it's competitors felt this was the best and haven't been disappointed really pleased worth the investment.

The product was purchased as we had recently moved house and wanted to both synchronise and renew the locks. The thumbturn is easy to install by use of a simple bolt through the locking plate and to use, as the same key now opens both our Porch and inside Porch doors, there is no using the wrong key.

The Avocet locks are good quality, a little on the pricey side but I’m happy with them. However, replacement keys are too expensive.

The locks were ordered ‘keyed alike’ as a replacement for the (double) porch front doors after moving into a new house. They installed easily as expected. The thumb-turns are particularly useful. When unlocking from inside, all you do is turn it - so it can be done one-handed. When locking from the inside, you need to raise the door handle while rotating the thumb-turn in the opposite direction. A key-code card is provided for spares - 3 keys are supplied as standard. Locking and unlocking from the outside is a really smooth action, both with inserting the key and rotating it unlike a lot of other brands. I will buy this product again when necessary.

Good quality locks with a nice finish

Although a bit pricey, it does give the peace of mind to have the highest level of safety protection. Quite easy to install and operate. We managed to replace a handful of cylinders in under an hour. The availability of tailor made keyed alike options is well worth having. The delivery was quite swift too.

After reading several reviews for keyed alike locks and shopping around I settled on SAFE.co.uk to make my purchase. The website has very detailed instructions/suggestions on how to take the relevant measurements required to select the correct lock cylinder size for your specific door type. Following these it was simply enough to use the site and select the required locks and ask for them to be keyed alike.

The chrome cylinder looks the part after it was installed (which was a breeze, euro cylinders are quite straightforward to instal!). As for security I would say its excellent, the cylinder is of a robust design with several security features along with a reasonable price.

The lock arrived early from safe, found it was really simple to install(just removed one screw and pulled out the existing lock) directions we’re on the website, easy to use, i actually bought two with same key which has proven to be exceptionally handy i really can’t fault it in any way.

I fitted 7 of these locks to my new property. Although the burglar alarm is a deterrent I wanted top quality locks as a first line of defence. Hopefully, the kite mark is a further deterrent against intruders. Additionally for the two sets of French doors we chose the internal thumb turn for ease of use on warmer days.

These locks are packed with security features and are so easy to fit and the advice provided by Safe was clear and helpful. Finally, the key card provided for additional keys is a further additional security feature.

I fully recommend these locks. Take care in measuring your existing locks and you’ll have no problems and greatly enhanced security.

Got a pair of these keyed-alike for my front and back doors. Absolutely trivial to install, was done with both doors in about 5 minutes, works smoothly, confident in the security.

It isn't visible in the photos, but the thumbturn has about 5-6mm clearance from the end of the lock body (slightly spring loaded), so it'll turn even with bits of the door hardware being a bit raised.

I read elsewhere that the lock can't be opened unless the thumbturn is in a particular position - this doesn't seem to be true, it works well whatever the position, just need to turn it a bit more. Note the odd shape of the thumbturn means it won't work with some of the smart-lock kits out there, if that's important to you.

The keys are really smooth to use, and go in either way up, but the handle end is a bit chunky - not ridiculously so, but enough to notice. Note ordering more keys from ABS later is EXPENSIVE - £21.50 a key currently, so better order all you might need upfront.

I purchased this along with four 50-50 locks as a keyed alike pack The locks are excellent quality and are about as secure as I can imagine is needed. As they are euro locks, fitting is a piece of cake (two screws are provide with each lock in case you can't use the original) and the mechanism is slick. The ordering process for the keyed alike is simple, and they arrived much sooner than I was expecting (easily within a week if I recall correctly). Better quality than the locks I replaced, and because they were keyed alike, only one key to carry instead of trying to figure out which key is the right one for the lock, and the thumbturn, in my opinion, is much better if you need to exit in an emergency.

These locks are the highest quality and the fit and finish in polished brass is superb. They look and feel very secure and even the keys look expensive. Be careful though as the keys are magnetic so do not carry them near your credit or debit cards with a swipe strip of they could render them useless. The locks were very simple to fit with just one screw which was also supplied. Overall very satisfied with my locks. Reassuringly expensive locks that will last a long time and provide extra security for my home. Might even get me a discount on my contents insurance

Replaced my standard Euro cylinder door lock in my front door, with this far superior lock. Very well made, and with the 3-star security that is recommended for the most secure locks, I followed the easy instructions to measure exactly the right size, and ordered. Very straightforward to fit - even for a novice to door locks like me. It's now been a few months, and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Not the cheapest lock but these have a real solid feel of quality once installed and operate smoothly. I ordered a set of 3 keyed alike locks which took minutes to fit once you look up the Eurolock installation method. The keys don't have any sharp edges which helps to protect my pockets.

I decided to replace my door cylinders as I wasn’t happy with the quality and security of my old ones. I chose these cylinders for their features and quality and I’ve not been disappointed.

These are beautifully made top quality high security cylinders (almost as shame to hide them in the door) and I chose the added feature of getting a pair with the same key for the front and back of my house. I fitted them both in a couple of minutes and I felt more secure immediately. The added convenience of only needing one key for both doors is a bonus. Highly recommended!

I purchased a set of four suited locks of various sizes to increase the security of our house. The keys look distinctive, are smooth and very easy to use. Fitting was easy, even for a novice like me. The locks appear of very good quality but I cannot independently rate how much they have improved the security over the locks previously fitted. It was easy to measure and order the correct sizes. I would recommend suited locks if you have several outside doors as it saves have a big bunch of keys and the search to find the right one! I have kept the old locks so that I can change one back if I need to give access to a workman without the worry of reducing the security all the locks!

I bought this lock with two others, all keyed alike. The locks were delivered promptly and were of the correct size and were all keyed alike correctly, including the additional spare keys I requested. It was easy to fit the lock, it even came with a new retaining screw. As it is anti-snap I feel a lot more secure in my house, as lock snapping has become a lot more of a common MO for burglars and is frighteningly easy to do. I purchased three keyed alike locks and spare keys for all the family. They seem to be extremely secure and well made. They were expensive but reassuringly so. It might also be worth contacting your house and contents insurance provider and inform them that you have 3 star rated locks now fitted, you may be eligible for a discount on your premium as your property is now far more secure and resistant to theft.

The lock was part of a set as I changed all locks at the same time, and all appear to be of the same high quality. I especially liked the option to have all the locks made to the same key number. If you want a secure yet easy to open lock then this is an excellent lock to go with. Fits euro locks as per normal and comes with fitting screws if needed. The blade style fits in sideways for insertion so opening might seem odd to begin with but its actually really easy to lock and unlock as the key fits in both ways to turn. This is unlike most standard blade style keys where the teeth are only on one side and the ridges only allow insertion one way. This is a 3 star lock that was even sent to lockpickinglawyer a genius in lockpicking and it required special tools to defeat so the security is legit

Easy to fit, they turn smoothly too - much better than our old locks. Being able to order different sizes keyed alike was very useful, as it has reduced the number of keys I have to carry. The locks and keys arrived in good time, and the key reordering card will be useful if we ever need more keys in the future.

The Avocet ABS 3 Star - Euro Double Cylinder 50 - 50 (100mm Polished Chrome) is a great lock that looks good and is easy to fit. It feels solid and I like that we could get it keyed alike with other locks in our house. It was easy to order and arrived quickly.

These are great locks, they were very easy to install. Just undid one screw from the old lock and fitted these new ones. First time I've had to change a locks but very simple.

An extremely well made and good looking lock which meets, and probably exceeds, the standards required by insurance companies. I live by the coast in a very exposed west facing location but I’m confident that the high quality plating applied to the lock will endure the harsh salty conditions we endure throughout autumn and winter.

I was looking for several locks as keyed alike. They were all the same quality as this one and I would be very happy to buy this again, although seeing as it is so well built I doubt we will be needing any. The keys all work so nicely.

First time I have used this type of euro turn thumbtack, though I have used this company before. I mist say I like the design which looks clean, tidy and modern. The finish feels like quality compared to some alloy versions that just look cheap and unfinished. But I think by far the best part is that I can literally design the whole thing myself from scratch. In this case I used their 'keyed alike' which basically means one key fits two different doors. Love it and will 100% be using these guys again !!

After buying a new house I wanted to replace the locks. I bought a keyed alike set of these locks all with thumb turns. Fitting was very easy, as with most euro cylinders. I was expecting big ugly knobs, but the thumb turns are the same shape as the cylinder which also gives an indication of where it is turned. The silver finish looks lovely. A relatively high price, but would buy again

As a construction professional I have bought locks from Safe a couple of times. I have found there service first class and you always have the back up if required of phoning to get the correct advice.
