We selected this Safe specifically because we wanted to store lever arch files in it. With 1 shelf fitted it is possible to fit 10 files and still maintain the draw. It is ideal for our needs. The only small issue is that when installed, the securing bolt protrude through the floor of the safe so flat bottomed items can not be stored on the bottom of the safe and it does cause some edge damage to he papers in the files that sit over it. Also you need to allow space for the door to swing back 180 deg to open the internal draw so you can not place it in a corner.

We recently took delivery of a Burton Firebrand XL Size 1 safe. I am delighted to be able to review this product and the service we received. The product is exactly as described. The combination lock is easy to set up and it comes with 2 sets of over-ride keys. The inside space is very flexible as it comes with two shelves and slots along each side edge which means that you can set the shelf heights just where you want them. There is also a handy drawer at the very top with its own lock for extra-special items to be stored or loose items that would get lost in the main safe. The enamel external paint finish is of excellent quality and easy to wipe clean.
