This is a supberb item. It was very easy to hang and is also big enough for small parcels and magazines too without looking bulky. It is completely weather proof and looks amazing on our house wall. My husband is a postman and often has difficulties with customers letter boxes, but he would highly recommend this post box to anyone!

Bought this to replace an old box which leaked horribly. This box is well made, has loads of capacity and most importantly has never let in any water, even on the wettest of days. Also looks pretty neat on the wall!

This post box is good value for money: slim, smart-looking, with an easy to operate lock and retrieval of post. It gives a touch of class to our front gate and fence.

This is my second Post Box, the first Barbantia box lasted for 20 years and was only replaced due to the paintwork becoming dull. I believe Decayeaux bought the company and still produce the same model of boxes to excellent, high quality specifications. Very pleased with my purchase and the price is extremely competitive.

Product delivered on time, great service provided. The postbox was ordered for my new property with electric gates so the box was mounted beyond the gates to give access throughout the day. Easy to install I used a spirit level to make sure the box was level. Fitted in November so it’s been through a very wet cold and snowy winter and it has remained fully waterproof. I gave the lock a shot of wd40 to keep the water out and it opens and closes very easily. On researching postboxes many cheaper options had negative reviews about poor quality locks and not being waterproof, this model from Decayeux has none of those issues and I am very satisfied with my purchase in terms of build quality and value for money and it looks really smart on the fence outside my new home. I definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a secure and waterproof mailbox.

This mailbox is well made, waterproof, and sturdy with lots of space for mail including small packages. It locks for safety and comes with extra keys. I like that you can't see if there is mail inside, especially when we are away. It was easy to install with easy instructions to follow and our mail carrier said it's one of the better boxes to buy. Before I decided to buy this mailbox, I looked at many others and felt this one ticked all the boxes. I would recommend buying this and feel it's good value for the money. Buy it!

It is a good looking, discreet and well made black post box. It took a while to fix to the brick wall, but it is now very firmly secured. There are no signs of weather damage to date, despite the recent challenging weather conditions. The capacity is perfect for our requirements. We no longer have concerns about a letter box in the door being left pushed half open with the concerns for draughts and security. I am very pleased with purchase and would definitely recommend buying it. It appeared to be good value for money compared with similar. It arrived promptly and was well packaged.

The post box was delivered quickly, it was easy to install following the instructions and it has worked well for the last few months. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a sturdy, water resistant exterior post box.

Excellent quality Letter box, good workmanship and a tough hard wearing black finish. Top flap is cushioned so you don`t get the constant banging when people post letters.

We have it for a few months now and still looks like new. We have tried the cheaper alternatives and all have needed replacing after 12 months

Really pleased with the postbox. I found it easy to install, the box it comes in can be used as a stencil to ensure holes are drilled in the correct position. On one occasion our post has been wet, this was down to whoever decided to post an oversize object in it, meaning the lid wouldn’t close. Human error rather than the postbox! Looks great from an aesthetic point of view. No hesitation in recommending.

I bought this postbox recently as a replacement for one that we already had which unfortunately wasn’t quite big enough and it was also not really waterproof.

We are delighted with our new Decayeux D110 post box which solves both of these problems.

It’s easy to use, looks great and I have no hesitation at all with recommending it.

I bought this as a delivery driver managed to rip our old Brabantia box off the wall and drive over it. This was exactly the same model and the screw holes aligned perfectly with the old one meaning no need for further drilling.

Quality product, we have another one exactly the same from you on a different property which has stood the test of time over the years in every sense.

A great quality item that is finished well in black. The look and feel is excellent and exactly what we were looking for.

Fitting was very easy outside our porch, and in the recent heavy rains it has remained dry inside.

The opening easily takes our monthly A4 magazines, and the thicker items such as the National Trust guidebook and small parcels also fit inside well.

Good little post box! we chose this one because a postwoman had reviewed it, and said that she wished all post boxes were like this. Because it's a top loader, any bigger letters, can get posted without having to be bent over. we also get alot of rain where we live, and so far so good, weather proof wise. definitely recommend this post box

This post box is the very best! I researched for ages on line to find it and an online review by a retired postman stating the high quality of this post box informed my decision to buy it. Originally manufactured by Brabantia, I was determined to track this post box down! I was glad to find this point made clear on Safe’s website.It reassured me that I‘d found the correct item. It is robustly built and easy to install. It has excellent weather resistance (mine is in an exposed location but the post is always dry). The price for such a high quality product is excellent.

This is a smart post box which comfortably holds A4 letters, magazines and even small parcels. The lid and hinge is a nice heavy quality which doesn't blow in the wind, and holds open easily for the postman. It has proved completely rain proof in the 3 months since we have been using it. Would recommend.

Very speedy delivery

This is the perfect post box. It is strong, great quality, easy to fix in place. I like the drop over lid preventing rain getting into it and protecting the mail. Also you cannot get your hand through the post hole so nobody can steal the mail.

A good well built produce that fits perfect for the job required.

This is a robust stylish postbox & appears to be rainproof which is a big plus! I did a lot of research before deciding on this one as it ticked all the boxes. I can get my hand in the opening (I have a small thin hand) so to deter other hands trying to get in, I put it up high enough so the angle isn't as easy for trying to fish anything out.

Where the lower holes on the postbox were for affixing it was awkward for getting a screwdriver/drill in at so I bore 2 new holes a little higher & used the rest of the fixings and attached to wall. I am very happy with postbox and would recommend it to others.

Good sized leter box, fits full size A4 letters and magazines without them getting crushed. Opening is good size, holds plenty of mail inside too. I bought some white vinyl lettering online so it now has my house name printed on the front of it which looks good.

So far it has kept the weather out but havent had it long enough to comment on long term durability of it, but as long at the lid if closed by the postman, then i dont see why it won't stay water tight.

Excellent, even my local postie recommends it too. Competitively priced,very well made, weatherproof and holds plenty of post including A4 size letters and magazines. Neighbours looking to replace theirs are impressed with mine. Nothing fancy but looks smart and fits in with all property styles modern or traditional. Looks good on my cottage porch, functional and does the job. Easy to open with key, post is safe from thieves as would be difficult to access letters without using the key to open the door. After hours of extensive internet research I am glad I decided to purchase this postbox. Thank you Decayeux for a wonderful product.

Overall the product is good, although I do find that A4 size packages can be removed through the top of the box with no need to open the door. This means anyone can remove A4 sized mail from the box

I've used these same post boxes in the past and they have stood up well to general use, so I am sure these will as well.

The capacity was not quite as spacious as expected, but the box does seem to be able to cope with large magazines. The quality of the lock is not great and the key does not go in and out very easily. The mail doesn't seem to stay completely dry.

Great product, nice looking with front opening easy access. Easy to install with all fixings included and good quality! The box easily takes an A4 size envelope and magazines. Nicely painted in Matt black includes two keys. Sloping top so the rain runs off reducing the chance of it rusting so hopefully will last a good long time.

Stronge , durable post box with easy access for both us and the postie . High quality product exactly as described.

I settled on the Decayeux D110 as it seemed the best made amongst the available products. I have been delighted with it in the three months it has been installed. The other great feature is the available newspaper tube which is attached during installation. The paint finish seems to be very durable and the lid closes quietly and is not lifted by the wind.

This is the second box we have purchased & again all is as expected.

I must admit it took a while before we decided that this Black Box from Decayeux was chosen.

It has proven to be a excellent choice, it does the job perfectly whilst standing up to all the wild elements in the area.

It is strong safe and extremely reliable.

Love this post box , looked at a lot , but this one ticked all the boxes, it looks fab !!!! Nice straight lines , modern , size is perfect ,and best of all postman happy , as he can get small packages in it , And it came very quickly, so very happy .

This mail box has been brilliant. Obviously not being able to see the product and ordering online, the items are not always as you would expect. This product is exactly what we wanted.

Good quality materials, ideal size for our needs, easy to fit and above all waterproof. Great product and value for money, we are very pleased with it.

We owned a similar post box many years ago when it was made by Brabantia.

This one has proved to be just as good quality and a lovely simple design. It fits A4 size letters with no problems at all and even small packages. We also ordered the matching newspaper holder, which we have fitted directly underneath. Fitting instructions were simple and it was a bonus to have the fittings included, instead of having to root around for your own screws and raw plugs!

Good looking neat and functional

I spent a lot of time looking for a post box to replace an old one outside our house. I wanted one that was a decent size, not too ornate, and most importantly because we live on a hill in Yorkshire, rainproof!

I'm very happy with my choice of the D110.

It'll take an A4 padded envelope or a small Amazon box. It has so far kept out the rain even in some heavy downpours. I like the thick rubber washers that go between the box and the wall. That meant it could be mounted on our very uneven stone wall without warping. Build quality is good.

The only negative point is that it came with unusual mounting screws, torx head I think they were. They are easily replaced with sensible screws, but... why??!

Points off for Safe.co.uk too for not having the colours we wanted. Black was our third choice.

It is well made and was easy to fix to the wall (you even get a template on the box to help mark out the screw hole positions)

It has proved to be rain resistant and with a top opening can easily accept large items of post without having them bent.

I am pleased I chose this post box as it has fulfilled all my needs so far. The local handyman put it up for me as I do not have the right tools and he had no difficulties. The spare key is handy and is stored away safely. The postman adopted it straight away instead of the stupidly low letterbox in my new home. None of my Christmas post has been crumpled and none has been wet in spite of recent downpours. For the price I am satisfied, and expect to get years of service out of it.

I had to buy one at an extra cost as I fitted it to a gate.

Post box looks smart on my wall and i am pleased with it. My only niggle is it is not as sturdy as my old Brabantia one and the key can be a litle fiddly. But the capacity is good and overall i would purchase again.

The sloping top keeps rain out and rubber studs keep the top closed. Spacers supplied with the fitting screws keep the top hinge clear of the wall. Door and lock feel flimsy but work OK. It easily takes envelopes containing A4 size magazines. It does the job and I am satisfied with it.

Really useful size. several things have been delivered easily into the box. Absolutely no ingress of rain. Sometimes the key needs and extra push to unlock but at least all the mail is secure. Looks smart on the brick part if the porch and some stick on numbers on the side shoo clearly the house number.

A neighbour recommended we buy a Decayeux Medium Post Box, we looked on the website and bought one, it arrived in a very secure box. We are really happy with it, our postman finds it easy to pop our post into. It’s very secure and watertight. We are very happy with our ‘box’.

Great sized post box. It can even take small parcels. Durable but not sure why, if it's really heavy rainy weather, it can get wet inside. Would benefit from a viewing window so that I don't have to keep lifting the top flap to see if there is any mail inside. Except for those 2 reasons I would have rated it 5/5.

The delivery was prompt and the parcel was packaged well. The post box looks very smart and we have had good comments about it from friends and our postman. The postman said he especially liked that you drop the post into the top so the letters don’t need to bend on the way in. My husband said it was easy to fit but he did have to pack it away from the wall with a couple of spacers because otherwise the lid would not open. We did not use the fixings supplied as we preferred a traditional style masonry anchor bolt which only cost a couple of pounds extra. You cannot get your hand inside the box, unlike our previous box. Key and lock mechanism are good and secure and work well. Our only criticism would be that the corners where the metal is folded on the lid are sharp. We would definitely still recommend this post box.

The box is a good size. Magazines and A4 letters are stored easily. The lid overhangs the edges of the box so keeps rain water out of the box. Well made. Easy to install yourself. The template on the box was very useful too. The black box we chose is a good colour and matched the front door. The lock on the door to the box comes with two keys and hasn’t rusted so far. The door opening allows for easy access to the stored mail and well hinged. Overall the box does an excellent job, good value for money, looks quality and the post lady is impressed too.

Brilliant piece of kit, after years of soggy post we now have a box fit for purpose

It’s a nice design, and the seal around the lid to stop it blowing open is a nice idea. Overall it would be a good product, but water gets in. So I may as well have bought a cheap post box rather than spending an eye watering amount on this. Disappointing.

We have had our Decayeux post box (black) installed for seven months now. It is smart, and protects our post from inclement weather and our postman loves it as it makes his job much easier. It was very easy to install.

The post box has been so successful, that our neighbour has bought one too.
